Hello my friends, it's been a while since I wrote in my own blog. Not that I didn't look out for you and made sure that everything works well, I just was busy with my other businesses.
I started to clean up the affiliate program section at the end of last year, but never finished the roll out. Now finally it is done. This is the largest change to the Power Blog since its start. Over time the affiliate program section got a lot of abuse and the Power Blog did not really prevent crazy setups. This has changed.
When you add a new affiliate program you can only add text and a few select html tags like bold, italic and underline. No more excessive linking from within the description. If you want to add a graph, there's an image upload the limits the size of the graph. This image will be displayed next to your description.

Existing descriptions are being stripped of most html tags.
In the affiliate id management, where you add your affiliate IDs to existing affiliate programs, I added a function called "Not Interested". This will hide this affiliate program from your view. This is great to navigate the now over 1000 affiliate programs. With this function you can quickly narrow the affiliate programs to the ones you're interested in. There's also a new option in the search that allows you to view all the programs you deemed not interesting.
Power List Marketing caught my eye recently. It was promoted to me as the total and complete marketers site, allowing you to capture names and email addresses from every click on the net and after looking into it - I have to say I am impressed.
I joined and took the upgrades - I figured, they offer a money back guarantee so why not..? You are not in any way required to take the upgrades to get the benefits of the site. However, they do multiply the benefits, I have found.
What a concept - I must say. The building of a list online is perhaps one of the most important skills you can ever have and this site is the most incredibly easy to use system to literrally explode your list.
