When I was starting out, I decided to learn everything there was to know about getting listed high on search engines. First, he created some ebooks packed with powerful, valuable information that others could use. See, I believe this guy was smart enough to stop...and ask himself..."How can I offer them what they want? Most people would have just created an ebook, inserted their own links...and stopped there. One possibility is to set up a two-tier commission payout plan in place so that the original distributors of your reports can even allow 'their' clients to 're-brand' the ebooks. Oh, by the way... the joint venture technique that I mentioned in the previous article can also be improved on more by offering the other person a "viral" ebook! Maybe even a viral ebook that the individual can "customize." Heck, why not set it up so that everyone who gets a copy can distribute it to others!!! :-)

There's no law stopping you from combining two or more techniques into one. If it helps make the end result more effective, by all means do it.

Do you see the power that's hidden behind these simple strategies when executed correctly?

You know, almost everyone's heard of the basic techniques. Some have even heard of the additional twists on the core techniques. Yet, most people are just not using them to their full potential. We have millions of people out there trying to hammer a nail in with a screwdriver. The tool is not to blame, it's the 'application.'

Oh...If you haven't yet created your own products and are thinking to yourself that you're not very good at writing, let me ask you this...

Is building your customer base by the thousands worth your spending some time on improving your writing? You know it is!

Look...writing is not hard. The sooner you start writing, the sooner you'll get the hang of it. The more you write, the better you'll become.

And if you think that you can't write an entire ebook, then create the ebook "one-article-at-a-time." Break your subject matter up into sections and write about each section as a separate article. Then, arrange the articles in a logical order and...Voila! You've got your own ebook!

It's a skill worth learning. Where else can you get paid for putting "words" onto paper?! This is an amazing business to be in.

But… if you still don't want to write yourself, no problem. Worst case scenario? Get someone else to write the book FOR you, and get their permission to put your name on it as the author. Some of the top marketers are using this strategy right now to easily create a line of products, without doing any of the work. You can too.


The keys to having success with viral marketing:

Viral marketing is useless if your viral ebooks and reports don't get passed around. That's the entire premise behind "viral" marketing - it has to be spread around to others! Here are the keys to getting that done:

1. You MUST give other people a strong incentive to pass your viral tool (software, ebook, report, article, etc.) on to others! If you don't do this, your viral tools will never spread. Exposure/traffic, commissions, residual income, customization, etc. are all great incentives to get others to pass your viral tools around.

2. You MUST make it EASY for them to set up and pass your viral tools around. Otherwise, they will never be able to spread it to others. Provide them with easy-to-follow instructions on branding, uploading, and distributing your viral tools.

3. Your viral tools (reports, ebooks, etc.) must get CONSUMED! In other words, your reports and ebooks need to be read and used! If I just download your viral ebook but never read it, I will never click on your offers, or go to your site, or continue to pass on the viral tool to others! No movement equals no traffic equals no profit! Give them compelling reasons to actually read your viral tools. This is where "direct-response" skills come in handy.

Why is FCM destined to be a giant?

This program was referred to me from one of the Power Blog members. I joined the program just to see how it works and what to expect. Quite frankly this is the first credit card MLM I've ever seen. But then the possibilities on the internet are endless and I can't possible know everything. So join me on my journey and read what the company's official promotion material has to say. Because History will repeat itself!

I have been a student of MLM for about 10 years, with most of my training coming from the telecom industry. The principle of Network/Direct Marketing is the vehicle by which any great product or service can be moved.

I have done extensive research on three Network/Direct Marketing companies, their products, the era when they began, their timing, and the acceptance of the products by society when they launched their products.

The first one is the Tupperware Corporation.

Tupperware was developed and founded, in 1938 by Earl Tupper. In 1946 they introduced Tupper Plastics to hardware and department stores. These were mom and pop organizations since there weren't any major retail stores like we have today. Tupperware was not accepted at first, because societies' thinking was not along the lines of sealing food in a plastic container. Retail sales from these stores lagged. So, in 1951, Mr. Tupper pulled all of his products from the stores and launched a network marketing campaign. By the 1970's Tupperware was a household name throughout America. Today, somewhere in the world, there is a Tupperware demonstration every two seconds! Sales now exceed $1.2 Billion annually!

The second is Shaklee.

Shaklee was founded in 1956 by Dr. Forrest C. Shaklee along with his sons. Their products were nutritional supplements. The thinking of society at this time, and in the medical industry, was not on nutritional supplements. Only after WWII did the think of the medical community begin to change from curing diseases to maintaining proper health to prevent diseases. This helped fuel the growth for Shaklee. But Shaklee never took off until the 1970's when they saw explosive growth, using the vehicle of Network/Direct Marketing.

There are a couple of items that I'd like to discuss about these companies before I talk about the third one.

Both companies were developed in a time in America when neither of these products were heard of or needed by society. So for approximately 20 years they had to educate people that they needed these products. When society accepted what they had to offer, these companies exploded in sales. Notice how long it took for these companies to get where they were going. 86% of the American people do not like change; they had to be educated to see that they needed these products. This takes stamina, money and even patience.

In steps our third company, Excel Communications.

This company is different from the other two because of the products and the thinking of society at the time of its formation. During the deregulation of the AT&T giant in 1984 everyone in America had a telephone and long distance service, or access to them. In other words, “You did not have to educate the masses about their product or service; they already had it!” All they had to do was introduce a new service under a different name.

Excel was started by Kenny Trout in 1988 and became the fourth largest telecom company in America, publicly traded on the NYSE, in just eight years! A Multi billion dollar giant in just eight years! Do you see the difference in these three companies?

The key difference is the education of a society about a product. The first two had to educate society about their products while the third just rode the wave!

Now comes, Free Card Matrix (FCM).

Let's compare! Who do you know that doesn't have a credit card? Or even better, who do you know who has never heard of a credit card? My point is that you don't have to educate the masses that they need our product. They already have it! Just like the telecom giant of the 90's, there are no products to purchase, no inventory, no collections, no buying to stay qualified every month! Just referring and making money!

In my opinion, based upon the model of Network Marketing, and the timing with FCM, there will be major income made over the next few years! All the elements that turned Excel into a giant are found in FCM. Timing, the product, and the acceptance of our product due to the fact that the masses already use and accept it (900 million credit cards in circulation (USA only), that number increases by 8% every year!).

Most importantly, the vehicle for growth, Network/Direct Marketing! By turning on the people power through network marketing, along with all the other elements involved, we will make a fast and significant impact in the business world.

Forming Powerful Alliances

Are you still catching fish one at a time? I hope not.

Gone are the days where you sit by the edge of the lake with a fishing pole hoping something will bite. Don't do that! There are better, more powerful ways of doing things today.

Use a net instead! Then, go to a spot where the fish are plenty...and they're jumping up at you!

One of the fastest ways of building your customer base is to seek out mutually- beneficial joint ventures.

The key words here are "mutually-beneficial." Find marketers and business owners who already have large "responsive" mailing lists and make them an offer they can't refuse! Your offer has to benefit them as well - in a big way.

Many people have tried using this strategy. Most have failed miserably. I'll tell you why.

The problem with most people is that they are only focused on what they can get out of the deal. You'll never get it if that's what your focus is on.

When you're working on forming joint ventures, focus on the other party and ask yourself "What do they need? What can I offer them that would be of value to them?"

Sure, you can just offer the other person a cut of the profits if they agree to endorse your product to their list. But that's what everybody does! And these days, that's not enticing enough. How is your offer unique?

Here's a better way of doing it...

What if you were to create a product specifically for one marketer? Offer him/her exclusive rights to distribute the product as s/he sees fit.

You don't have to create a hundred-page masterpiece. Remember what I told you earlier...it's not the number of pages - it's the content! You can have a 5 page report that contains solid gold. And you can have a 100-page mammoth filled with garbage.

Want to do one better? Offer to help the other party with something first. Anything. Without bringing up your joint venture offer. Then, when you've created some value for them, you can ask them to help you out with something. (Say a joint venture, perhaps?)

Do you see how this strategy differs from what most people try to do out there?

Heck, I've even seen people requesting joint ventures by just sending a one-line email note to the other person which reads, "Want to promote my product? Here's my link..." Do they really expect the other person to even respond to that note? It just doesn't work!

Be unique! Create value for them! Make it worth their while. Make them an offer they can't refuse!

Keep in mind that...although the above strategy increases your chances of striking a deal astronomically, not everyone will say "yes" to your offer. I've approached some people who just had too much on their plate to begin with and just weren't able to work with me. It happens.

Don't take it personally.

The trick is to not quit after the first "no." Forming powerful, mutually-beneficial alliances with successful marketers is the best strategy available to us. And it is well worth your time to continue pursuing joint ventures until you strike a deal or two. But, you don't have to stop there either. Get as many as you can.

Remember, you are not just seeking a one-time deal here either. You're seeking an alliance! Great ongoing business deals and friendships can be formed this way.

Note: Joint ventures and other alliances have an added bonus in that you get instant credibility in the eyes of the other person's customers. If these customers trust the list owner, you'll usually get favorable results. On the flip side, if the list owner does not have a very good relationship with the customers, it can actually hurt your image as well. For this reason, be careful whom you decide to pick as your joint venture partners.

Use Only the Best Traffic-Generating Strategies

When you study successful people in any field - marketing, real estate, finance, investing, or anything else, you will find that the most successful individuals are those who have harnessed the power of leverage.

In other words, they have learned how to do very little and produce massive results. In order to be extremely successful, we need to learn to do the same thing.

You should only use those strategies that require little work and produce the best results. Sounds pretty simple, right?

It's common sense, really. Yet, surprisingly, it is not such a common practice at all. Especially when it comes to online marketing and traffic generation.

There are 1001 traffic-generating strategies out there. But, only a handful of them really produce the kind of results most businesses are after.

So, I have a question for you...

Do you want to use every traffic strategy in existence, including all the new ones that come out tomorrow? Or do you want to use only those strategies that produce massive results with little work? Strategies that have been put to the test, and continue to produce results year after year, after year?

I hope you went with the second choice.

Look...my time is very important to me. Therefore, if a traffic-generating strategy doesn't meet certain criterion, there is very little chance that I will use it. And that's why most of the traffic strategies being used out there are useless to me.

Most of the traffic-generating strategies available to us are like dirt and rocks. I'm not interested in that. I'm looking for the "diamonds" that are hidden among this debris of strategies.


If you want new and sexy ways to generate traffic, I'm sorry but I don't have any to share with you because I don't use them.

Why? Because they just don't produce the kind of results I'm after!

I don't have time to spend on setting up a system that will only work for a very short while before getting buried. It's a waste of time...and effort.

Most of the highly successful marketers don't use hundreds of techniques. Instead, they pick one or two of the best ones - the diamonds among the dirt - and they master those techniques! Sure, they'll try a new technique every now and then, for testing purposes. But, the core of their strategy usually remains the same.

This is a very important lesson we need to grasp. The newbie jumps from one technique to another, or worse, uses 100 of them at once. As a result, s/he remains a newbie even years later or just gets burned out. The seasoned marketer works on mastering the strategies that provide the most leverage.


Here, then, is my criterion for picking the "diamonds" among traffic generators...

For a strategy to make the cut, it has to be:

• simple, quick, and easy to understand & implement.

• high-leverage. ie it can produce massive results with little work.

• viral in nature ie it continues to produce results indefinitely.


If you're not familiar with the term "viral," it basically means that your traffic-generating vehicle can spread out throughout the Internet like a virus. It's similar to the 'snowball effect' in that it continues to gain size (grows bigger) and momentum (moves faster) as it tumbles down the hill, without any additional effort on your part.

You should implement the "viral" strategy whenever possible.


Sometimes, I will come across a strategy that only meets two of the above three criterion. However, if the result produced is substantial enough, I will still use that strategy.

There are also times where a strategy will require more work in the beginning stages but will continue to work indefinitely once it's launched. If this is the case, I will definitely do the extra 'initial' work to put it in place.

And, if a strategy can produce massive results with little work, but does not guarantee a viral effect, I will still use it. I can always modify it a little to produce the viral effect I'm after.

I'll explain how I do this in the next parts of the course, but first, I want to explain one more important concept.


Two Types of Targeted Traffic

You may already know that there are two types of traffic: targeted and non-targeted.

Targeted traffic consists of people who are interested in your product or service and would be more likely to spend money to get it from you.

Non-targeted traffic consists of the rest of the world. These individuals are not interested in buying what you have and, therefore, will not part with their cash for it.

Obviously, it's the targeted traffic that we're interested in. We don't care about nor do we want to spend any time trying to convince the non-targeted group into buying from you. You'll be wasting your time and theirs.

You should also know that the "targeted traffic" group can be further divided into two groups:

• prospects that you go after, and

• prospects that seek you out!


Let me illustrate this using an offline example...

Imagine that you've been given a list of prospects who have previously shown interest in purchasing the kind of product you are selling. Now...if you decide to sell your product door-to-door by visiting these prospects, you're going to them...on your time. (The same applies if you use telemarketing strategies to call them.)

Instead, if you have a store at the mall that prospects come to, they're seeking you out...on their time.

So, while both groups of prospects above are targeted, the second group is obviously easier to sell to because they are taking the initiative to look for you, and they are usually ready to buy!

In the online world, these prospects are the ones who visit search engines, shopping sites, eBay, etc. They are already out there "looking", searching for what they want. They are ready, or at least more inclined, to spend their money!

The problem is that getting listed high enough in the search engines, and staying there, is not easy. In later parts of this course, I'll show you how to find both groups of targeted prospects without spending a dime.

Six months later, the first marketer will be earning a nice monthly income from his handful of daily visitors while the other marketer will still be struggling to get more "unique" visitors to his site while making very little money, if any.

A great traffic-generation model linked to a poor profit-generation model leads to failure.

If you want to make money from your site, you have to understand this...

The site that gets the most traffic does not necessarily make the most money!

The site that is able to turn traffic into subscribers and buyers usually does well.

And the site that can turn traffic into repeat buyers always comes out a winner!

Getting traffic to your site is only the first step. Once it gets there, you need to have a powerful direct response sales message ready to take orders or add subscribers to your list. Otherwise, all your efforts will go to waste.

You see, while most marketers are only focused on finding new customers or getting more unique visitors to their site, the smart marketers are also consistently working on getting their existing customers/prospects to buy more often. And maybe even buy much higher ticket items.

Getting an existing customer to buy again is much easier to do than getting a stranger to buy from you for the very first time.

So, all the extra traffic you get to your site will not make any difference to your bottom line unless you work on turning these strangers into "trusting, repeat buyers."


An important point about profits...

Over the years, I've noticed that many of the individuals who make good profits consistently are those who charge a monthly, recurring fee. This can either be in the form of a monthly access fee to a product-based membership site or it can be a service that requires a monthly payment (for example, a hosting service, Internet access, advertising service, and so on.) Basically anything that creates a residual income source.

It also takes much less effort to make a profit using this system because, again, you're selling to an existing customer who has already willingly paid for that product or service. Instead of having to sell to the customer every month, all you have to do is keep providing a good product and service.

If you can find a way to provide a product or service that charges a monthly fee - even if it's just a few bucks a month - you can really begin to maximize your profits from the traffic stream that comes your way.

A predictable monthly fee, even as small as 9 bucks per month, is a lot better than a "probable" sale of $27, 2 or 3 times per year. Start using bigger numbers and you'll really see big differences.

Oh, by the way, this monthly access product or service does not necessarily have to be your own. You can also join a dependable affiliate program and just as easily earn a monthly residual income.

Another great way to generate regular sales and to keep customers interested in your business is to bring out new products regularly, preferably every month.

Although most of the rest of this course will focus on generating traffic, I wanted to start off by explaining the importance of maximizing the profit from the traffic you get.

To finish off, here are two valuable strategies that you must adopt if you want to maximize these profits...

1. Capture email addresses of visitors to your site and mail them regularly. Most people will not buy the first time they visit a site, particularly if they've come from a search engine. By capturing their email address you get to remind them about your offers and to build credibility that will ultimately encourage them to trust you enough to spend money with you.

2. It's much easier to sell to repeat buyers than to get new customers. This means either a membership site (your own or promoting someone else's) or regular new products (most easily done by private labeling products from someone else's membership site).

Adopting these two strategies will make a huge difference to the value you get from each website visitor.

The Internet Marketing Number's Game - a Myth?

Internet marketing is a numbers game, we all know that. Or is it not? Maybe we are all mistaken and chasing a white elephant. Internet marketing is a highly competitive market. If you ever used a pay-per-click search engine you know what I mean. Internet marketing is a tough market. You deal with all kind of people. Just skim your inbox. I'm sometimes amazed with the emails I'm getting. “need money now help make money fast” this is an evergreen from my collection of email responses to my newsletter.

Does this sound familiar? Well, I think it's sad and embarrassing. We are doing everything a so called internet marketing guru told us to do and the responses are mostly from confused and poor people who have no clue what we are actually talking about. Now ask yourself again, is it really a numbers game or should you completely change directions.

One of the marketing systems I'm part of recently issued a statement that most of the new subscribers are from non English speaking countries. Keep in mind that the site is completely in English are geared towards English speaking audience. Just a few words of English won't do it either. They are selling the service with the slogan “find 3 and it's free”. This definitely leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Ok, now what? How can you make a living or even more than living with an online business? Ask 10 internet marketing gurus and you get 11 different answers. The only thing I can say is to approach an online business the same way as you do with a traditional business. With traditional businesses nobody expects a profit in the first year of a brand new business. But on the internet everybody gets frustrated if they don't make money in the first three days.

If everything would work like all the gurus make us believe there would be no more employment. The economy as we know it would seize to exist. Home businesses are by definition meant to be an income supplement. In some cases they become a full time income. On very rare occasions a home business can turn into a money maker. I heard of them, but I never actually met anybody that made it.

After reading all this you can understand that internet marketing is not always a pleasure. This is especially true if you are building a business with internet marketing. So, should you completely avoid internet marketing and focus on other business ventures? Well, it depends. If you can't handle the competition and the negative image of this market segment, don't do it.

On the other hand, if you are able to manage a small success in a highly competitive market, keep doing what you're doing. Chances are that some of your competitors are giving up and you can fill the void in no time. Make no mistake it's a dog eat dog environment and never ever expect a helping hand from a fellow marketer. Unless you made it into the “chosen few league”. The big guns are joining forces all the time to increase their market shares and profits. Hmm, this sounds like good old corporate America, doesn't it?

As I said, treat your online business the same way you would treat a traditional brick and mortar business. Because the same principals apply to both types of businesses. Anybody who thinks they could push their business into profitable returns by maxing out their credit cards are missing the boat big time. Yes I admit it; in the beginning I spend way too much money on useless stuff because a guru told me so. Then I turned around and tried to convince others to spend too much money on useless stuff. Again a guru told me to do so.

Luckily I was able to break out of this death spiral and forced myself to analyze the situation. First, do I really want to continue with this internet thing? Second, do I really want to spend hours after hours everyday to chase something that might not exist? Yes I really want this internet thing to work and No I don't want to chase wild goose. I needed to be smarter with my business decisions and more creative in my approaches. Ever since I changed the way I'm doing things my business is doing better every day. Like the real world businesses, it takes time to develop.

The bottom line of this little story is; never trust anybody's advices blindly; don't do exactly what you've told to do without researching the consequences. Although the consequences are most likely an empty bank account and maxed out credit cards. It will devastate your financial future. Remember, be smart, play smart and play the internet marketing numbers right.

SFI 5-Day Course

• Create an account with a free traffic exchange service, like Power Hits Exchange , that allows you to point their URLs to an URL rotator and gives you credit for showing their referral link.

Create an account with another free traffic exchange services that give you credits for showing their referral page. TrafficSwarm are great examples for that.

Create an account with a free page rotator service, like PageSwirl , to create an URL rotator landing page. Add your SFI site to this rotator, plus the start page of TrafficSwarm .

Create an account with an auto surf service, like AutoHits . These services work like the free traffic exchange servers, but you don't have to click to surf for credits. Except for the very first time to activate the account. This holds true for all traffic exchange services.

Point AutoHits to Power Hits Exchange and point Power Hits Exchange to PageSwirl . PageSwirl contains an URL rotator that points to your SFI site and the TrafficSwarm referral page. The traffic will be split equally between the two.

Then point TrafficSwarm to your SFI site.Both, PageSwirl and TrafficSwarm will display your SFI site to their members.

Start your auto surf service and let it run as long as possible. I run it all night long. This gives me enough hits on HitPulse that I can convert the hits into powerpoints every day. This fuels HitPulse and it will display your ProfitRally URL rotator and ultimately displays your SFI gateways to prospects.

Bingo! Your SFI gateways are now being displayed to the world. Don't get the false impression that this is old news.   2. Add a link to TrafficSwarm that points to your SFI site. Use this description to complete the TrafficSwarm link creation as an example:

  3. Create an account with PageSwirl . (Not a member, no problem. Sign up here for FREE )
  4. Setup the URL rotator for SFI and TrafficSwarm . (Use your main SFI URL and your TrafficSwarm referral page. You can find the referral page URL on you TrafficSwarm account main page.
  5. Create an account with Power Hits Exchange . (Not a member, no problem.here for Sign up FREE )
  6. Add your PageSwirl rotator URL to the Power Hits Exchange system (click on My Websites on the tools menu).
  7. Create an account with AutoHits . (Not a member, no problem. Sign up here for FREE )
  8. Add the Power Hits Exchange referral URL to the AutoHits system. (Click on your sites and add the referral URL of Power Hits Exchange .)
  9. Start surfing with AutoHits and let it run for a while.
  10. Login to Power Hits Exchange and convert your credits into hits. If you're in a hurry you can always jump start the process by surfing 100 sites within Power Hits Exchange . This takes only a few minutes.
  11. Add the PageSwirl URL rotator to your websites in Power Hits Exchange .
  12. Run your AutoHits as long and as often as possible.
  13. Every 2-3 days you login to Power Hits Exchange and convert the credits into hits. You also need to surf a few pages to keep your account active. This will only take a few minutes.


That's all. This is a system that is fully automated and with almost nothing to do for you. I love it. 500 – 1500 hits to my SFI gateways a week, that's absolutely great and targeted as well. Individuals who are participating in free link exchanges are opportunity seekers and you just cater to them.

Of course you can run as many auto surf servers, as you want. Just make sure that you ping an exchange server that gives you credit for displaying their start page. This is the fuel that keeps it running. In general you can ping any exchange servers start page and earn credits.

While applying this technique you can actually create small credit surfing empire without lifting a finger.

Believe it or not, but I signed up with SFI during an all night credit surfing session. If it wouldn't be for this surfing for credits I never started my online business. Today I'm glad I did and so will you.

Day 2 – Thousands of Free Targeted Hits to Your SFI Gateway


The only sources to get targeted traffic are the search engines. How on earth do you get massive traffic from search engines if you don't put a lot of money and time into SEO (Search Engine Optimization)? And how can you get search engine traffic if you don't have a website?

You pay for it. Wow, that completely defeats the definition of free targeted traffic, doesn't it? I wouldn't tell you about this if there's not a way around it. When you think about paying for search engine traffic you think of Google and Yahoo.

That's right, but there are hundreds of new search engines just waiting to be the next Google. They rightfully claim that the internet is big enough for more major search engines that there are today. Well, time will tell.

For now we take advantage of their desperate attempt to attract new customers. Like the big two, these search engines offer paid advertising that works similar to Google's AdWords or Yahoo's Overture. Paid advertising on search engines is called pay-per-click advertising. Your ad shows up by bidding for a place on the most popular results page, the first page.

When you go to Google or Yahoo and search for a keyword, the results page will show you a list of web sites that match your keyword. If you pay closer attention to the page layout you will notice the list of websites on top or on the right side of the screen that are labeled “sponsored links”. These are all paid advertising that are paying to be on the top results page for any given keyword.

When somebody clicks on your link you will get charged the amount you bid to be on the first results page. It is only a few cents per click, typically 10 – 50 cents per click. Assuming a couple of hundreds hits a day and you can easily calculate that this will cost you $20 to $50 a day for this kind of advertising. That's $600 to $1500 a month. Wow, there's no way that you can afford this.

You're right; this is way too much to spend on ad placement advertising. So why do I advice you to jump the pay-per-click band wagon? Because the runner-up search engines are offering their pay-per-click for free. That's right you create an ad campaign in these search engines and they will deliver free targeted traffic until your freebie funds are gone.

I will show you a list of all the search engines that offer initial credits for your pay-per-click ads. If you do the math you will get over 117,800 free targeted hits from these search engines just by opening a free account.

Well, yes, it takes some time to create all these accounts and the ad campaigns. But over 100,000 hits to your SFI gateway is worth the effort. Remember these are no empty hits from other credit surfers, where you get a good lead once in a while. These are people searching for something and your ad was compelling enough that they clicked on it.

Before you start here are some tips you need to consider:

- Choose the same userid and password that you will use for all the account. It's easier to remember when you want to change your ad later on.
- Create your ad before you start your pay-per-click frenzy. Go to your SFI portal and click on marketing aids. You will find enough examples that you can use. Most search engines limit the space you can use for you ad campaign. So pick a short example.
- Always use SFI's FREE gateway as target link for you ad campaign. My research showed that this is the best converting web site in SFI.
- Take a few breaks. You will be busy for a while. So, pace yourself. You don't need to finish this in one night. Over a 100,000 hits will take a while to arrive to your SFI gateway.

Make no mistake. Even small search engines like these get more traffic than your average website. So be prepared for a traffic stampede.

Day 3 – Expand Your SFI Business


SFI is a great business, but by itself it takes way to long before you see the good stuff with SFI profits. There's nothing wrong with a little supplement to your SFI business.

To really mark your presence in the internet landscape you need your own web site. Unfortunately not every body knows how to do this and hiring a programmer to do it for you is no bargain either.

Luckily there's a guy who will take care of everything for you. His name is Stone Evans. You might have heard of him before. Maybe you already visited his website and you didn't think this is something you wanted to do.

To be honest with you Stone is the sole reason why I got serious with my online business. I was a SFI affiliate before I got to know Stone's system. I didn't have a single affiliate signing up under me and I was ready to quit. Then I fund Stone's easy to use Plugin Profit Site or PIPS. That was the turning point for my business.

Sign up for every program Stone lists, except SFI. You're already a member. Next get your Host4Profit web hosting account. This is important. Without this you don't have a place to put your web site on. It's like having a phone without a phone service.

Congratulations, you're now officially part of the World Wide Web with your very own web site.

Now it's time to learn some marketing skills and start promoting your baby web site. I used Stone's very own book '30 days to Success'. It is part of your own web site and you should read it cover to cover. The tactics Stone is teaching you are essential to a successful launch of your new web site. I learned a lot and without this knowledge I still would be frustrated trying to get something going.

Before I close for today I want to show you some math examples on how your new home business could work. Everything I will present is done 100% online. So it doesn't matter where you live or what delivery restrictions might be in place. You are virtually everywhere and your store is accessible anywhere in the world. Pretty cool.

Some Math Examples

First you need to know what this whole online business will cost you money each and every month. I will refer to this as business expenses. Every business has expenses. In my example $75 in business expenses are pretty cheap for an online business. Before you jump out of your chair and go “$75 a month! How can I afford this?” Truthfully, if you can't afford $75 a month for your own business, you shouldn't do this.

In my math I will demonstrate how this investment will provide you with some nice profits. But like anything else in life. There's no guarantee. So you need to be able to sustain these expenses without any income from your online business. This is my duty to protect you from any harm.

Ok enough lecturing, let's get started. First you need to know the cost breakdown of your business expenses. The table below is exactly that.

To show you how your business could work I made the assumption that you will be able to produce 3 new signups to this system each and every month. Is this a lot? You might ask. Not really. 3 sign ups are actually very realistic. I further assume that none of your new sign ups ever quit. That's not realistic at all. Typically 10-20% of your sub-affiliates quit within the first 6 months. Make sure that you teach your sub-affiliates how they can be successful and you will lower this drop out rate.

Ok here's my example, based on 3 new signups every month for a full year.

I just want to make sure that you understand how this works. You just need 3 signups a month, less than 1 signup a week to make this example working. Of course nobody in the whole world would guarantee this and neither do I. These numbers just show you how you should approach this business. Most online income systems are based on huge signup numbers to show you some unrealistic profits. With this system you can actually make a nice side income or extra spending cash. Because others got burned before I have to point out this earnings disclaimer. This is actually for your protection as well.

Day 4 – Harvest the Power of Blogs



What is a blog? In none technical terms, it is like chocolate for search engines. They want fresh content and blogs deliver fresh content. It is the fastest way to get listed with the major search engines and it will generate traffic. I see this every day. Ever since I started my own blogs, web traffic soared.

It is absolutely no complicated to create your own blog. You don't need to get fancy with your first attempt. Important is that you have a blog and that you know how to introduce yourself to the search engines. Everything else will fall in place.

Before you start your own blog you need some content to load into your blog. You could take Stone's 400 day ezine that came with your PIPS and slowly load it into your blog. It's a lot of work, because Stone's articles are optimized for email delivery and not for blogs. Simply cut and paste doesn't work.

Now it's time to step up a little bit from your original PIPS to Mega PIPS. What's that? Mega PIPS is a free add-on to Stone's PIPS. Besides giving the original PIPS a facelift. It also comes with dozens of free articles that you can use to feed your blog. You don't need to upload the new PIPS, but I highly recommend that you do so. It will set you apart from all the other PIPS out there.

Click here to download the free software and follow the instructions to generate your new PIPS. It is really simple and you should be done in no time.

After you've completed this task we now can pay closer attention to the creation of your blog. We will tap into the riches of Google. The world leading blog creator is Google. Go to http://www.blogger.com and create your free account. Next you will create a new blog.

To make sure that the search engines will credit your PIPS url, you have to choose 'advanced blog setup' when creating your blog.


Here's how you set your parameters:

  • Blog Title: 'My Blog' (Name it whatever you like)

  • Listing: Listed -> checked (You want the link credit)

  • FTP server: [your PIPS url] (my example: www.mypluginhomebiz.com)

  • Blog url: [your PIPS url]/blog (this will create a directory named blog on your PIPS server, my example: http://www.mypluginhomebiz.com/blog)

  • FTP path: [server path to the blog directory] (ask your hosting provider H4P for details. It is typically -www/blog) if you're not sure leave it blank.

  • Blog filename: [index.html] (my example: index.html)

  • Blog URL: [your PIPS url]/blog (my example: http://www.mypluginhomebiz.com/blog)


  • Next you choose a template. Just pick the one you like the most. You can change it anytime. Voila you're done.

    Create your first blog and publish it to your server. Whenever you create a new blog entry make sure that you put your PIPS url at the end of every blog message. This will make sure that blog readers can access your PIPS easily. You don't need to create a link from your PIPS homepage, because your blog will be index by the search engines before your homepage. This sounds strange, but that's how it works.

    Every time you post a message in your blog you need to let the search engines know about. This is called pinging. There's a shortcut for this too.
    Go to http://www.pingomatic.com , enter your blog url and ping away. Of course this is a free service.

    Now you just have to wait a little bit and you will see that your web site stats will slowly go up. It's like magic. Typically after 2-3 weeks your whole blog is completely indexed by the major search engines and you will get more free traffic than you ever dreamed of.

    Day 5 – Create Pay-Per-Click Ads on a Budget



    Once you setup every thing I taught you so far it is time to introduce you to pay-per-click advertising. You made your first encounter with smaller search engines on day 2 of my course. Now we move up to the big 2 plus a newcomer that is already well established.

    Did you know that some the most successful SFI affiliates use pay-per-click search engines extensively to drive traffic to their SFI gateways? They are capable to get hundreds of prospects a day into SFI. Of course they also spend significant amounts of money to do this. We don't have this kind of money available.

    Pay-per-click advertising on a budget means that you spend $50 - $200 max a month on this. I would stay as low as possible. Although you get much targeted traffic to your SFI gateway, these new affiliates are a result of a very expensive advertising method. Return on investment takes a little bit longer than new affiliate signups through other methods.

    I used PPC (Pay-Per-Click) a lot for SFI, but I cut down on my spending and it seams that I get almost the same results.

    Here's another tip: Only advertise SFI's FREE gateway through PPC. Don't use PPC to advertise PIPS. PIPS is to complicate for the typical 2 seconds a visitor spends on your website. Use the SFI gateway, which does a great job to capture these 2 second visitors. Once you have a new affiliate, use Stone's autoresponder example from his book '30 days to Success' to keep a constant contact with these new affiliates. And PIPS does the rest.

    Ok, let's get started with our PPC campaigns.

    First let's focus on Google AdWords. To open a Google AdWords account you need a credit card and $5. That's it. Click here to open your account.

    Please read all the material Google supplies to make the most out of your Google AdWords experience. If you want to push Google AdWords to the max or you simply need more examples to understand AdWords; click here for the best-selling book 'Google Cash'.

    Make sure that your daily spending limit is set to $1 or $1.50. Otherwise you will have a rude awakening with Google. They don't care how much you spend, after a few days they will simply charge your credit card and then it is too late to change your mind. So pay close attention on your spending.

    If you calculate $0.05 (Google's minimum) per click, you will get 20 clicks a day with a daily budget of $1. That's 600 extremely targeted clicks a month. With a conversion ratio of about 4% you will get about 24 new affiliates every month through this PPC. Getting just 3 EAs out of 24 affiliates shouldn't be too hard either, especially with Stone's autoresponder follow-up system.

    If you don't like Google or it seems just way too complicated you can go with Yahoo's Overture. It is the oldest PPC engine and it is very easy to set up. $25 will get you started and you can set spending limits as well. Go to http://www.overture.com to set up your account and start driving targeted traffic to your SFI gateway. Unlike Google, Overture simply goes with the bid amount to place your ad. The more you bid the more your ad will be displayed. Again, set your spending limits so you don't loose your shirt.

    If you want to test a newcomer, I suggest 7search. These guys are determined to become the next Google. Very nice interface and lot's of help in setting up your campaign. Unlike Google or Overture, 7search doesn't charge you after the fact. You load you're account with any amount you want and 7search uses these funds until nothing is left over. When the account runs out of funds the ad will no longer displayed. This gives you a greater control over your spending. If you don't have the money right now, don't load anything into your account. Once you have the money, load it up and 7search resumes your ad campaign.

    Go to http://www.7search.com to open your account.


    Officially this is the end of my 5 day course, but after finishing this course I realized that something is missing. I taught you to become a super affiliate with SFI and a couple of other programs, but you will face the same problem I had. What about my sub-affiliates. They are sitting in the dark and don't know what to do. Now this is hurting you and you get all frustrated that you can't continue your growth.

    I told you that the secret to any online success is to reproduce a successful method and let others to be successful too.     3 Easy Steps to Improve the Search Engine Ranking of Your Website

    SEO or Search Engine Optimization is a buzzword that is around for a long time. There are as many misconceptions about SEO as there are webmasters. Some webmasters are afraid of SEO, thinking it is too complex and not worth the effort. Others believe that SEO will get your website banned from the search engines and there are the few that actively practice SEO.

    Fact #1: SEO can be complex if you want to compete with the big guys. SEO is all about outperforming your competitors. That means the less competitors the better your success rate will be.

    Fact #2: SEO can ban your website from the search engines if you break the rules. I will not tell you the dark tricks of SEO that will ultimately get you on the blacklist of the search engines. This way you will not be able to break any rules and keeps you out of trouble.

    Fact #3: SEO can be simple and effective. I will show you a few easy steps to increase the ranking of your website. You will be amazed about its simplicity.

    Ok, here we go.

    1. Choose your niche keyword phrase

    SEO is all about being a little bit better than your competition on a single keyword phrase. You need to focus your website on a single keyword phrase. 2 or 3 words in a keyword phrase work best. Make sure that people are actually searching these phrases as well. Wordtracker and Overture are just two methods out of many to check for usability. If you optimize your website for the wrong keyword phrases you're wasting your time.

    2. Set your html tags right

    Your keyword phrase has to be in the –title tag. You can ignore the keyword and description meta tags for now. They are not as important anymore as they were a few years ago. Make sure to have an h1 tag with the keyword phrase. Avoid having an h2 tag with the keyword phrase. Take control over the look and feel via cascading style sheets (CSS). This way it is much easier to control your website's appearance and keeps the html code clutter free.

    Sprinkle your keyword phrase throughout the webpage. Place your keyword phrase 2-3 times closer to the top, once within the first 25 characters and once in the last 25 characters of your text. Change the style variation of the keyword phrase. Make sure you have at least one underlined, one bold and one italic variation of the keyword phrase.

    3. Check for errors

    Spell checking is a must. Search engines don't honor spell errors on your webpage very well. Check for broken links as well. Nothing hurts your ranking more than broken hyperlinks.



    Well, here you have it. The 5 minute drill to improve your website's search engine rankings. Ok, I admit it, it's not this easy. On-Page SEO is only half the battle, maybe only one third of the battle. To really dominate the search engines you need to practice a well planned and executed linking strategy.This is also called Off-Page SEO. Off-Page SEO is your most important task as a webmaster.

    The details of a successful Off-Page SEO strategy are too much for the content of this article. But here's a little example on how effective Off-Page SEO is: Logon to Google and type in the keyword 'click here'. To your surprise you will see that Adobe holds the #1 position for this keyword. Now analyze the Adobe page for a minute. There is no 'click here' anywhere on the page or within the html code. How in the world can they be #1 for 'click here'? Millions of other web pages have a link to Adobe with the title 'click here' to download the Acrobat Reader. That's why.

    Nothing makes me happier than if you can improve the search engine ranking of your website by just a few positions by following my simple advice. 90% of all webmasters don't bother and that's the window of opportunity for you. Of course a short article cannot explain the total picture of SEO. However it is meant to give you some ideas on how to approach SEO. Have fun while practicing SEO with your website.
