The Power Blog just launched a new member referral contest. Like the previous contest we will give away prices when the member count hits 5000, the 5 members with the most referrals wins. All referrals made after June 1st 2008 count.
Once in a while I need some positive feedback to keep doing what I am doing. If you're familiar what it means to run an online business, an affiliate program and a membership site. You know what I'm talking about. This is a lot of work and it is not like I am making boatloads of money.
The one thing that keeps me going are the review comments from LinkReferral. There are almost 1000 reviews about the Power Blog and they are 99% positive and encouraging. I get my strength from there.
BTW: LinkReferral is a great site to drive traffic to your site. It is not much, but it is steady and I get a lot of signups to the Power Blog. What I love about this site is its honesty. They promise 20-60 unique visitors per day. I get 35 visitors. Right in the range they promised.
The Power Bog is entering its 3rd year, who would have thought that?
We have over 2200 members that are more or less pretty active. Recent signup increases indicate that the Power Blog is still going strong. Using LinkReferral as one of my main advertising venues has positioned the Power Blog into the top tier of memembership sites.
What's new with the Power Blog?
The new version of the Power Blog enabled the spill over traffic feature for all PRO members. The Power Blog receives a lot of traffic from the search engines. All this traffic is unqualified and nobody really benefited from this traffic. Now PRO members will get the trffic assigned like they generated the traffic on their own.
Thousands of unqualified visitors are now assigned to a PRO member the same way spill over signups are assigend.
To make it more attractive to upgrade to the PRO membership I launched the 30-day trial period. This is the easiest way to-date to upgrade to the PRO membership. Upgrade today and if you decide that the PRO membership is not right for you, I will refund your first month membership fee. Simply cancel your PRO membership within the first 30 days and I will give ou back your money 100%.
Over the next few days I will continue uploading more download bonuses to the PRO membership download page. This will go well over 2GB of first class tools and e-books for you to download.
Hopefully by then end of this week I will have a fully working PRO membership signup site that works with Clickbank. Yes, the Power Blog goes Clickbank. This will increase the army of affiliates. make now mistake, the original affiliate program for the Power Blog, the IMT Global affiliate program, is still your best choice. Clickbank doesn't offer a 2-tier program like the IMT Global affiliate program. But Clickbank opens the door to more affiliates. Either way this will grow the Power Blog community even faster.
I am excited about the new outlook for the Power Blog in 2008 and this will be the best year for the Power Blog.

What Else Is New At The PowerBlog? The Admin has informed us in mid August 2007 that the next generation version of the PowerBlog is now finished. Appears to be running quite smoothly now.
Please take note that the new PowerBlog Article Directory is now alive and well. A few Pro members now have submitted articles to it already. Perhaps more PowerBlog Pro members will consider using the Article Directory in the near future. Remember that you can promote links which take your viewers directly to any individual article.
You will notice that some PowerBlog Pro members have already customized the Look and Feel of their Powerblog. Perhaps they have chosen a different color scheme or created their own unique title. Perhaps they have customized the ads, banners, and links which display in the left side frame. If so, you may have noticed that the same Look and Feel is automatically carried over to the new PowerBlog Article Directory. Thank you Peter.

A Word To The Wise Just because a program appears to be popular within certain groups of people does not guarantee that it is a program of real value. Think about that.
Just because a program is ignored by the majority of people should not prevent you from taking a closer look at it. The majority are not always right. Think about that.
You be the judge of what is best for you.
