Today I like to write another post about the Power Blog. You propably noticed all the new posts from fellow Power Blog members. This is great news and I encourage all members to start posting as soon as they qualify.
The most important thing is that all posts obey the most important rule with the Power Blog. Besides the basic rules outlined in the terms of use. Do only use the Power Blog style affiliate links as stated on the input form.
Why is this so important?
The Power Blog is concentrating all of its members promotion efforts to very high search engine rankings. The Power Blog is now in the top 10 for very competitive keywords and across all the major search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN.
Ok, the Power Blog is getting a ton of traffic. Why do I care?
You should care a lot. Every time a visitor arrives at the Power Blog, the system checks for a specific cookie and if found, the embedded Power Blog member id will be used to navigate the Power Blog and for all affiliate clicks.
How do I get the cookie out there?
Easy. Use the splash pages in your favorite traffice exchange program and make sure that you always use the supplied promotion codes. Adding the Power Blog RSS feed to your website will set this cookie as well. All you need to do is to have somebody look at any of the Power Blog promotion pages. Bingo, the cookie is set and lives for 999 days.
If a Power Blog visitor ever saw a Power Blog page prior to their visit to the blog itself, the cookie will be already there and is setting the reference id to the right member id, YOURS.
Yes, I own the Power Blog and I get all the traffic to the Power Blog. Now stop and think. Try to imagine what happens when you apply the statements I just made. If there's a cookie floating, I don't make a dime, you will make all the money. Well, if you don't get the cookies out there, I will make money, but I can attest, that many members are spreaing the cookie.
With this in mind, to all of your success,
Peter
