A famous entrepreneur, whose name I can't remember anymore, once said that if you can't leave your business, you don't have a business, you have a job. What he meant was that if you have to take care of your business 24/7 or you're not making any money, you just have another job. A business has to be organized in a way that you can leave and the business still makes money in its own.

For the past few months I worked very hard to automate my business. From a series of connecting autoresponders to a fully automated ordering and delivery system, everything is working without me doing a thing. Even the support is automated and I only have to take care of things if there’s a problem. This means that checking my email once every other day is absolutely the most I do. This way I can spot a problem right away and take action if necessary.

The Power Blog is a perfect example of automation at its best. New members can sign up and upgrade their membership 24/7. The Index points are automatically calculated and the autoresponder series follows up with new members. If a member gets a new member in his/her downline, the system sends an email right away. All this happens without any manual interaction.

Imagine this, I’m away from my business for quite some time and the Power Blog is able to reach a new milestone without me. 400 members are now actively registered in this unique affiliate promotion system. Well, what does this have to do with automation? A whole lot! Remember, I’m still away from my business, out of the country actually. No, most of my orders happen in the middle of the night on products I didn’t even advertise at that time. Actually last night I sold a product I didn’t remember I had. I set up this site over 2 years ago and I still get orders once in a while. Without automation I wouldn’t be able to do this.
