We all see many examples of how marketers use the sense of urgency in their marketing campaigns. How many times have you seen "This offer good until midnight only" or "For the next 72 hours only" and what about the one time offers you see right after you sign-up for a free program online or the ads on TV that say "Hurry in today once these deals are gone they're gone for good"?
Marketers are always developing new twists to this age old marketing tactic and the one reason behind all this is that the sense of urgency tactics are very effective sales tools.
