Wishing everybody a happy new year, best of health and may all your dreams come true. Maybe your dreams about the Power Blog will come true. After seeing the membership numbers rising to new levels, it’s time to elevate the Power Blog to the next level.
Before I read from the crystal bowl, let’s recap 2006. Builder99, a loyal and active member of the Power Blog, went through great efforts to write a monthly newsletter. He provides statistical information mixed with how to tutorials. I personally love his newsletter. Because I reminds of the great success and progress the Power Blog had in 2006.
Let’s take a few minutes and ready through builder99’s newsletter for 2006:
June 2006
July 2006
August 2006
September 2006
October 2006
November 2006
December 2006
I certainly enjoyed the stroll in the past. I never would have dreamed about where the Power Blog is today. Back in the dark ages of the Power Blog, I had no members and my code was flawed to the point that I had to throw away a lot of code pieces. I was fixing problems almost every night.
But over time I was able to stabilize the software and now it runs 24/7 without a hick-up. Hopefully the planned new features will not disrupt the peaceful harmony.
In the past I made announcements as well and most of my plans became part of the Power Blog. Some never got implemented, because their value to the members could not be confirmed. But others made a big difference in the member’s experience with the Power Blog.
2007 changes to the Power Blog:
New lower thresholds to qualify for a free PRO Lite upgrade.
The new thresholds went into effect last night and the numbers of PRO Lite members doubled over night. I will carefully monitor these thresholds to reward active Power Blog members with a free update.
Your very own website, 100% SEO friendly.
Sounds like the PIPS system. No quite, the Power Blog website is 100% SEO friendly and will get high search engine rankings when you do all the necessary off-site SEO. Please read more about SEO in this free report (Attention: 2Mb file). The PIPS system gives you a website that looks the same for every member and search engines punish this as duplicate content. The only way PIPS members are making money is through massive ezine ads, solo ads or building a huge email list. Bottom-line, if you don’t have a list, you don’t make money with PIPS.
Search engines provide an endless stream of free traffic. The new Power Blog website will give each member their own website. No coding necessary and no writing necessary. The site is created based on a few preferences. It also pulls random, topic specific content to enrich the site for search engines. This is not black hat SEO, but it will get the job done. The only thing you have to do is to make sure that their will be incoming links.
The new website is available to every member of the Power Blog. Of course, PRO members will have many more options to customize their website. The new website will have its own URL.
This is very complicated and I hope to have everything ready within the next 3-4 weeks.
Cleanup the forum.
The Internet Marketing Forum will experience a few changes. First, the forum will be open to Power Blog members only. New forum members have to be Power Blog members first. The admin will not approve new forum registrations that do not comply. This will hopefully put an end to the SPAM. Thanks a lot Jeff Alderson. Forum Equalizer really pushed it over the edge.
New free reports like the BFE.
Giving away a free report in exchange for a valid email address works all the time. At the moment you have 2 free reports to give away and collect email addresses that eventually will sign up with the Power Blog in your downline. I will add many more reports and squeeze pages to put this task on autopilot for you.
Brandable reports
Viral reports are the backbone for every successful marketing campaign. Nothing gets the word out faster than a brandable report. Get the word out about the Power Blog with a brandable report.
I think these are enough new features for the Power Blog. Not only does it make the Power Blog more attractive for free members, but it also boosts the value PRO members receive for their valued and very much appreciated membership fees.
In this note I wish everybody the best 2007 they can get and success to you all.
