All new registrations are screened by the admin. If a new forum member is not a Power Blog member, registration will be refused. This might slow down the spam that's accumulating in the forum.

As far as I can tell, the new registration policy is working effectively to keep spammers out. There were many new registrations that were automated, but because there's no Power Blog account, the registration was refused and no spam was posted.
