Builder99 Power-Blog-NewsMarch 2007

Builder99 says, Want to build a downline? The PowerBlog is helping my downline to grow. Maybe it could help you grow yours.

What's New At The PowerBlog? 1633 total PowerBlog Members. An increase of 32 members since last report. Slow and steady always wins the day.

What Else Is New At PowerBlog? The Turbo Poll Generator as mentioned last month. This new service has been made available to Powerblog members as of February 2007 and it is free. Have you tried it yet?

Where To Find It Over the next few newsletters let's review some of the PowerBlog features that have been with us for quite some time.Previously we have mentioned some of the PowerBlogNavigation Menu items, including a link to the Forum. In order to register with the Forum you need to first be a member of the PowerBlog.

Just a reminder that the PowerBlog is available in a choice of languages, from Arabic to Welsh. About 2 dozen different world languages. Now let's continue our study of what is available.

The better you understand just what the PowerBlog offers, the more value you will derive from your membership. Learning how best to use the many features is well worth the investment of your time.

Links Starting at top left corner.

Login Link: You guessed it! This is where members go to login and get access to the many features.

Register link: See 3 easy steps to register. Contains a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) link and some early-day testimonials.

Help Link: This goes to the same FAQ area mentioned above. Should mention that there is also a HelpLink found at bottom of the Categories area. That one simply takes you to any PowerBlog postings which have been placed in the Help Category.

The Profile Link: Your very own profile at the PowerBlog. Created by you and lets you display 3 of your favorite website links.

Question. What is another significant difference between PowerBlog Pro and a regular free membership? Answer. Pro members can post a message in the Internal Message System once every 24 hours. Free members can only post once per week. See inside the members area.

If necessary, click on the Home Tab. See Welcome back ... near the left side. Look across to the end of this line. Look for the button which says "Inbox" - Remember that you earn points for clicking on the link in these messages.

It Works For Me As a Pro Member of the Powerblog I can add new items, revise or remove old items on the left hand side of my page. Look in the area underneath the bar called **Resources**After login to your members area you can click on the Skins tab to revise and update this section.

In the Builder99 Customized version of the Powerblog there is a newfeature near the top of my resource area at the left hand side. It contains links to the simple cure for email spam. For less than a dollar per month, I have been able to easily configure an email system which lets me decide which sender is welcome and which is not.

And by the way, the good guys don't have to be a member of this email system in order to send me email. And if the bad guys happen to join this system, it will do them no good because they can be blocked whether they are in or out of the system.

If it does not show in the current page you are viewing, try this.Just scroll down to my About The Author link near the bottom of this post. Click on that link and then watch the left side for info about the ZoEmail System. To get one extra month free, tell them you were referred by Builder99

Hi JD

I guess ZoEmail is probably misunderstood by many people. I know I didn't know how easy it is to use until I tried it. Now I would not want to give it up ever.

Some email solutions are more like a private system and if your sender did not already belong to that new system they could not reach you. That is not the case with Zoemail.

When I send someone an email using my Zoemail it creates a new unique key which is inserted in the email address. They simply reply back to me exactly the same as they would if I had used any other regular email system.

Now I can also create an address of my own choosing and sent that to my friends and they can reply back to it using their own email system.

Here is a sample address I created for you. It is made of of 3 parts as follows.

builder99.johnd@zoemail.net

You can experiment with it if you want. Send me an email and it is guaranteed not to get filtered out no matter how many times you use the word free in the body or title of your email. That address, once created, could last for a lifetime or at the click of a key I can shut it down without hindering any of my other many zoemail addresses.

If it was my regular email address I would not post it in a comment online. But because of the power of ZoEmail there is nothing to fear. If I start getting spam on it I know I can shut it down in a heartbeat.

I can create a new unique keyed email address for each online program I join and if I ever start getting spam on one of them, I will know exactly which program violated my email privacy.

Have been using it for almost a couple of weeks now. You couldn't force me out of ZoEmail now if you threatened to double or triple the price of this service. In fact I would gladly pay ten times what I am paying now and still consider it a bargain. (I have never said that about any other program!!)

Sorry for the long epistle. Guess I am just a satisfied customer

Hi Builder99,

I'm afraid I don't know anything about ZoEmail.

I've spent too many years trying to make it easy for people to find my email address and to contact me that I don't look at any other email systems.

I have several layers of spam protection in place at my primary email address and that cuts down on much of the work, but I still have to weed through my various in-boxes to find the flowers that shine there!

It is my opinion, at this time, that anything that stops someone sending me a real email message, or any system that may make it more difficult to reach me, largely negates the work I've done to make myself findable and reachable.

Again, though, I know nothing of ZoEmail, so these thoughts may have little value.

And, yes, you are absolutely right. No matter which system we use, we have to put forth the work necessary to get any value.

Sorry I couldn't offer any more specific thoughts.

Act on your dream!

Hi JD

Good to hear from you again. Was thinking of you just the other day and wondering how things are going.

I am still learning my way along and discovering a few (very few) online treasures along the path.

Do you have any thoughts about the ZoEmail system? Have you heard many comments about it - either pro or con? I like to be presented with both sides of the story and then I can make an informed choice.

Before joining I was aware that some work is required of me in creating my new email keys. How could it be any other way? If I had a 2-door garage I would not expect the neighbours to mount a 24-7 hour watch on my behalf. No, I would be expected to purchase the proper garage doors. Then I would be expected to buy locks for those doors.

Then I would be expected to actually use the locks and control the keys. My email system can either be a mushy pumpkin or a mighty oak tree. My choice - and I prefer quality over avoiding work any day.

Keep up the good work, JD

Hi Builder99,

It's been awhile since we've talked and I wanted to say "howdy" and to thank you for your PowerBlog updates.

I enjoyed the pumpkin vs oak tree analogy; nice. Yes, it takes time to build anything of lasting value.

Hope you're well.

All the best,

JD
