You might have noticed that there were more activities around the Power Blog as usual. Yes, I was busy to make improvements and rewriting the user manual. I hope you are enjoying these improvements.
As I mentioned before I was in the process to connect the Power Blog with Clickbank. Well, this was not a success story at all. For whatever reason Clickbank didn't approve the Power Blog PRO membership. Go figure. This is exactly what made Clickbank big. I think it is more of Clickbank's 8 week money back policy that got into the way. I haven't seen a membership site with monthly fees that is giving more than 30 days of money back guarantee. If I'm wrong, please let me know.
I am currently working with AlertPay to add their services to the payment processor list. Unfortunately I am having major issues with their API. Hopefully I can overcome these issues soon.
I also signed up with Authorize.net. Needless to say that my application is still pending and I have no idea when and how it will be approved. The sales rep was pretty pushy to have me signed up, but now nothing is happening.
OK, these are pretty depressing news and I don't want to bother you further with my issues with service providers and their non-performance. If nothing else you got a rare view behind the scenes on what it means to run your online business on your very own program code.
But I have good news for Power Blog members.
Through all this set backs and disappointments. I developed a new concept that lets active Power Bog members cash in. Imagine a frequent flier system for Power Blog members. The more you use the Power Blog the more you will get back.
Here's the rough outline:
- Login once a day and your Power Blog Index will be converted into permanent points.
- Use these points to buy products at the Internet Marketing Tools (over 100 products and counting) or convert them into credits at the Power Hits Exchange.
- Members with an average Power Blog Index of 200 should be able to purchase goods from Internet Marketing Tools worth about $30 or equally valued credits at the Power Hits Exchange.
- All you need to do is to login once a day (Logging in more than once a day won't increase your points). All you need to do is to become more active.
- While you're at your account menu you could:
- Check out new programs and add your affiliate id to the programs you're a member, but didn't have the time to record your values to the Power Bog.
- Read some messages and collect more Power Blog Index points.
- Write a testimonial and keep collecting massive points.
The coding is underway and you could get a head start today. Collecting the points is already active. The redemption part is a bit more code intensive and needs more testing. But it should be active soon.
I hope you enjoy the new Power Blog.
Take care,
Peter
