For about 2 months I use a new tracking tool called Quantcast. They have a great system and it is FREE to use. Unbelievable, but they don't charge a dime and their customers include Fortune 500 companies.
Ok, I got curious about the statistics and tried their compare feature. To my disbelieve, the Power Blog bypassed SFI in the number of monthly worldwide visitors. SFI is still ranked a little bit higher, but the Power Blog is catching up fast. Of course SFI is still the #1 affiliate program in the world.

Now that we established the traffic question, which shows that the Power Blog gets a ton of it.
Let's focus on how the Power Blog works for you.
The key to success with the Power Blog is for its members to spread the word about the Power Blog with personalized links to as many people as possible. The methods of promoting are a variety of tools:
- Personalized links
- Brandable PDF reports
- Pre-written emails
- Pre-written test ads
- Graphics
- Splash pages for traffic exchanges
- Squeeze pages to sign up subscribers to the traffic course
All these methods make sure that the Power Blog remembers who send the visitors or leads to the Power Blog. The magic happens inside the Power Blog where all affiliate links will be branded with the individual affiliate IDs of a Power Blog member who referred the visitor or lead in the first place.
This sounds more complicate than it really is. All you need to know is that the Power Blog remembers referrals for up to 3 years. This means, send as many visitors to the Power Blog as possible. These visitors might not act on anything right away, but they will come back. Most likely they will find the Power Blog through search engines. The traffic stats above proof that the traffic is flowing. The Power Blog remembers who sent these returning visitors in the first place and credits the account.
Here's an actual example on how the Power Blog works for you.
Let's say you are a member of the The Second Tier affiliate program. Got to the Power Blog and search for "The Second Tier" posts. You will find one article about this affiliate program. Usually it is more for more popular programs like SFI.
Login to your Power Blog account and click on the Post menu link at the left hand menu and then click on Direct Post Links. Search for The Second Tier and you will get your personalized link to this exact blog post.
What this post does is called pre selling. If somebody is interested to hear more, they will click on the link on the post. If the Power Blog member followed the instructions and added all their the affiliate IDs to the system, the link to the The Second Tier affiliate program will be customized to carry the affiliate ID of the Power Blog member who send the visitor in the first place.
Use your personalized direct post links in:
- Email signatures
- Forum signatures
- Text Links in Exchange Programs
- Links on your website
- Links in guest book entries
- Links in blog comments
The possibilities are too many to list. Just get creative and you will succeed.
All you really need to do is to sign up with the Power Blog for FREE, follow the 2-step setup wizard, apply the methods listed in this blog and tell everybody you know to do the same thing. Once this is done, you can simply sit back and watch your downline grow. It is that simple.
This was the basic idea when I created the Power Blog 3 years ago. Of course the Power Blog evolved into much more, but the heart and soul is to help everybody to grow their downline. Only a healthy, growing downline will pay out at the end.
This is a call to all current Power Blog members to pay closer attention to their membership and spread the word about the Power Blog with this article and personalized direct post links.
To your success,
Peter

I forgot to mention that since the integration into Twitter the traffic to the Power Blog even more exploded. Almost instantly after posting a new article, the traffic starts flowing.
Also, Google started to index new posts within minutes of publishing. Imagine what this means to your marketing campaign.
Take care,
Peter
